Table 5847 - Average Cost Calc. Overview

Hi everyone!

I'm upgrading from NAV 3.60 to NAV 5.0.
Table 5847 - Average Cost Calc. Overview is a new table in NAV 5.0.

I've already done a complete migration test. I thought the upgrade toolkit was going to populate this table somehow, but it did not insert any records at all.

Does anyone know why?
Maybe this table is only populated if a specific configuration exists on the old version. Maybe there is a bug. Or maybe it's just that the upgrade toolkit does not populate this table at all....

That table is used to calculate at run time. It will be empty all the time like buffer tables.

You are welcome.
It's a nice feature in 5.0 for average costing. Try to lookup on "Unit cost" on an Item that is average cost.

Is there an 3.6 to 5 upgrade tool available? or you upgrade to 4 then to 5?

you need to upgrade from 3.6 to 3.7 or 4.0, then upgrade to 5.0
