Are ZUP files stored differently in a Novell environment?

I have a client that is running NAV 4.03 on a Windows 2003 server in a Novell environment. They are reporting some very strange occurrences that sound like a shared zup-file is the problem.

Two users will be the same data-entry screen at different desks, keying in or looking up data. When one user creates or looks up a record the other user's screen will change to display the record that the first user on. Turn your head to answer the phone and you find yourself looking at/working on the wrong data.

We have not seen this in any other installation. This client is the only one which uses Novell, which is what makes me suspicious.

Any ideas?

ZUP cannot have some effect to running client. The data are read on startup and written when closing client. There is no data transfer during the work. May be that someone is connecting to the client and remote-controlling the workstation?
