Partial Commits

I want to write a record in a log table everytime a specific codeunit throws an error, but to do this i have to COMMIT manualy. Is it possible to commit only one table, because if i write COMMIT every modification will be commited which i don't want to do, precisely because an error happened.

Is it possible to use a buffer table?

You can define a table with Temp property and store the errors in that table.

After all the code has been run you can store the errors in a real table.

No, it is not possible to commit just part of the transaction (it is why it is transaction - atomic object). You need to use some workaround like Mark suggested.

How can you define a table with temp property?

In the variable definition of the table (globals) select properties and mark Temporary as yes.
