Back out Finished Production Order?

I posted a Production order, and the consumption method for the routing/workcenter was set at manual. I didn't do the manual consumption procedure before finishing the production order. Now I can't manually post consumption for the order, nor can I remove or delete it. I also can't run any production orders for the item, for some reason. :shock: Does anyone know what is going on here, how to fix it???

Hi Mike,

Once the Production Order status is changed to Finished, nothing can be posted to the same production order again. There is no other option to modify the finished production order.

As per your explaination, you have not posted the consumption or the output but have changed the status of the produciton order.
So the best option would be to create another production order and proceed with the posting of consumption and output.
