Error while posting output journal

Hello Experts,

While posting output journal I got an error message:

The inventory posting set up does not exist.
Identification field and values:
Location code=", Invt.Posting Groupcode='FG'

I have checked the setup.Posting group FG is posted and location also is entered.

Please help.

Yes, Posting group exists, location is entered, but is the "Inventory Posting Setup" for combination "FG"and "" created?

"" means empty value.

you have do the inventory posting setup.
i.e you have to define inventory A/c for the combination
of Location and Inventory posting group.

Got the answer.

In the setup 'Location mandatory' was not ticked.So when I entered the location while posting the output journal, the system gave an error message.

After marking Location mandatory affirmative,the journal got posted.
