Convert System in Navison...

Hi Experts

I want to know after System is made which is the way to use Old system data. We have to use Dataport to import data or user will have to enter data manually ??

For eg they have Items in the Old system.

I want to make Item and BOMs in new system...How i save time. Did i used Dataport or is there any way ??

If the ans is Dataport what about inventory....??

Not sure I know what this MEANS?

Did you create a new DATABASE and now you want to move the data from the old ERP to the new DATABASE?

You NEED to read the implimentation guide. Not a good time to start guessiing. 8-[

A. Create dataport to import the Item
B. Create dataport to import the quantity into item journal
C. Enter items manually
D. Enter item quantities manually into item journal

Potential combinations are:
A and B
A and D
C and B
C and D
