Print Preview doesn't work on Citrix

Hello,

a customer of mine has a strange problem. When they try to print a report and don't use the preview option it works flawlessly.When they use preview they get an error saying you need to install an printer before preforming any printer related tasks.

The configuration they use is a citrix environment with an 4.01 client and 3.7 db.

Any ideas?

    Of course you have installed the user printer driver on Citrix server?

    Yes i have. And printing works, only the preview doesn't.

    The difference between Printing and Preview is only that the Preview use the default printer and Printing use the printer the user choose.
    Has the user the right to use the Default Printer? Is this Default Printer correctly installed?

    What is setup for Administration > General > Printer selection ?

    Navision 4 and Citrix has problems with printernames longer than 62 chars like:
    Client/EUROPE-%USERNAME%#/Microsoft Office Document Image Writer UPD:PCL5c

    either ask your MBS partner for a hotfix or use shorter printernames
