Hi there,

I want to build a function within Outlook to be able to press a button when looking at an email, and have it automatically go to a Navision 3-70 database and create a job.

I'm not sure how to go about this. I know that there is a standard button on the contact form within Outlook that is already linked to Navision, but I don't know how to see the code (or macro) that is linked behind the Navision button to get an idea.

Could anyone give me a gentle push in the right direction? :)

Your help is greatly appreciated, and hope you all have a great Xmas and a great NYE! :D

If someone doesn't know how to answer the above question.. perhaps as a simpler question, how can you call a Navision codeunit from outside of Navision? Eg. from within Outlook?

I think you can do that using C/Front,
you can write a macro in MS Outlook and call it from a custom menu
examples of C/Front with Excel Macro can be found in Navision CD
and download the outlook integration objects from this site.

    cheers
