Trubble showing a special character “®”

I have a symbol in my Sales Setup. “®”.
If a user with a client sets this symbol all clients can show and print it.
If a user logs on to the client-server he sees an non-printable character.
When he sets the symbol himself, he can show and print it but all others get a non-printable character.

Does anyone know:
What can be the difference between the server (or client here) and the other clients??

i'm guessing that you make sure all the proper fonts are installed on all machines.

where are you getting that symbol from? Wingdings or webdings or something?

It is because there are another locales active on the server. Check language setting for non-unicode applications in Regional settings in control panel. And check if you are using same keyboard language.
