I need to run Attain job scheduler each morning from DOS Shell (I must specify user and password also).
Otherwise I have to run windows backup without stop Attain Server.
How can I do? Thanks

If you are using Windows NT/2000/XP and NT authentification (instead of Navision database authentification), you can run Attain from DOS prompt or via NT scheduler and you do not need pass user name and password at startup - while using NT login, you can log on automaticaly.

you need to have NT authentification enabled.

As main menu ID you can enter form which can run job scheduler or something else.

For automatic backup without stopping server, use HOTCOPY ;-) and NT scheduler ;-).

Is this enough? Better than nothing, isn't it? ;-)
