Hi.a flow filter is used in calculating a flow field. he he he..Ok..A flow field calculates values from fields in other tables (e.g the vendors balance on the vendor table and card right? (hint vendor ledger entries)) Thank yu..thank yu..yu can now stop clapping and allow me to continue...... Now that value is also depended on flow filters..I will give yu an e.g that yu will have to do..maybe in Cronus...
1. create a vendor
2. do a bit of purchasing from him..and please..each PO should be in its own month (yes..this is important in this example)
3. Check the balance
great!!!! Note it down...Now let see the power of the Flow filter!!!!
1. Enter a flow filter on, sa Date Filter (specify a date range taht exculdes the last Purchase invoice from yo supplier)
2. Apply the flow filter
3. Check yo vendor balance now...
4. Yu can figure out what happened..then yu will have to enjoy the rest of yyo day..Happy Nav!!!
