Hi ,

I created a sales order
Now the details item = Y
Qty = 100
Sales price = 1
Line amout = 100
On this excise = 16 %
Vat = 4 %(Local) or Cst = 3%(out station)

This is general secenarion.
Now in sales line I got one field is Unit price Excl.Vat.

But i want to include vat or cst to sales price. That means need not show seperately vat or cst on sales invoice report.
How to include vat or cst to sales price in navision.

To view invoice amount with VAT you can press F9 (statistics)

To use VAT including price in Sales invoice you have a field in customer Card to display prices including VAT.

I checked Customer card , Item Card, Sales Header form . In these there forms i got this field.
I read Help F1 of this field. After that i selected one field VAT.Bus.Posting Gr.(Price) = National
Now i Try to place a check mark in these fields.But that field is not getting check mark.
What is the problem? How can i place a check mark in these field?

With out check mark this is caluclation
For example
Item Y
Qty = 10
Unit price = 10
Lin amount = 100
Vat = 20 ( suppose)

If i place a check mark in that field how the caluclation goes.
How to place a check mark in that field. Do I need to set up any thing?
I am going any thing wrong.......... #-o

When you create a Sales Invoice Prices is displayed without VAT. When you check Prices Including VAT in customer Card. Sales Invoice Lines Unit Price is display with WAT included.

Sorry for that sentence.

Once u place a check mark in that field that vat amount will caluclate.
My problem is that field is not getting check mark. I tried in all fields( Customer card , Item Card, Sales Header form )to place a check mark . But no use. Even i setup VAT.Bus.Posting Gr.(Price) = National

For Navision W1 and PT versions and don’t see any reason for that field can’t be enabled. I can’t answer for Indian version.

Hi Austin,

looking at your first post, it seems that sales will attract
excise and vat / cst as per Indian scenario.

1. If Excise is to be charged on assesable value
instead of MRP, Then define assesable value on
Item card and do the setup for BED calculation in
Excise Posting setup as %of assasable value

2. If your MRP contains the VAT, Then on Item card
tick on MRP. Define MRP price. tick on Price Inclusive Tax
select PIT structure. In PIT structure line tick on include
PIT calculation against Sales tax line.

While calculating the sales tax system will consider the PIT
structure insted of structure on Sales header.

When you run "Calculate Structure values", system calculates
the VAT /cst and Price Excl VAT.(MRP - VAT/CST)

I am working on sp1 of indian localisation.

What is MRP In Item card , and what is PIT structure. I could not find any field like MRP.

I am expecting some detail explanation about these fields and PIT structure.
