NAV 5 Sales Order - Assigned User ID field ?

Can anyone tell me what the field Assigned User ID is used for on the Sales Order form? New to V5 but not in Help. Nothing in the Changes Made in MS Dynmaics NAV 5.0 W1 doc either???? thanx

    Hi Ian ... sorry I don't get it ... the ID of the person who logged into NAV and created the Sales Order has that value stored in SENDER ID (as seen in the Appproval Entries) .. so what is the purpose of another "user id" in the Assigned User ID field? as it has nothing to do with Approvals? If you have any doc on this I would appreciate it. thanx

    I just used Developer's Toolkit (Where used on field 9000 in table 36) to search for any functionality in NAV with this field, but I couldn't find anything. :-s

    Anybody know why the field is added in NAV 5.0?

    So handy F1 doesn't work on this field... :evil:

    I always thought it was used for the warehouse. There are similarly named fields on the Pick and Put-away if I remember correctly. It doesn't fill in by default, though, so I think it is pretty useless on its own.

    You're right. For warehouse it was already present in earlier versions.
    Perhaps they are planning to do something with it in the future...
