Hi experts,

However I haveto tell you that my Navision experience is just "Months" . I completed Inventory costing Book. I could understand how navision caluclate costing.
I am planning to read Manufacturing Costing. So Experts could u tell How navision caluaclates finished item Cost. On which basis navision caluclating Finished Item Cost.What are the costs consider to get the cost of finished item?
If u give details to my query it will helpful to understand easily.

It depends in part on your costing method.

If you are standard costed the cost of the item is the standard cost!

The costs otherwise come from the raw materials consumed in the BOM and the labour times and rates defined and consumed on the route. All of these roll up to get the initial final cost of the item.
