Inventory Costing For Finished Goods

Dear All,

The Cost Amount (Actual) for the output item is not displayed in the Item Ledger Entry, but the Cost Amount (Actual) for the items through which it is made is being displayed in the table.

Like i have done production a XXXX that produces Item A which is made up of B & C raw material.

The Cost Amount (Actual) For B & C is displayed.

But For A it's Not Showing

What shall I Do…………………

    have you posted the consumption for Item A.
    also change the status of the production order to Finish

    Hi

    You do not say what costing method you use, could you tell us?

    Also are the raw materials B and C fully invoiced? You say the cost is known as it is actual, but are these the lines that were consumed as part of the build?

    I also presume you are using production orders and not BOM journals?

    I am using the FIFO method for costing...
    Yes the Raw material B & C r fully invoiced......
    yes lines that were consumed are the part of the build
    And also u r right we r using production Bom.
