Ms Dynamics 4.0 enterprise portal

Hi all,
I am configuring Enterprise portal on Ax4.0.
operating system :win 2003 sp1
sharepoint portal 3.0
Microsoft dot net framework 3.0
MS dynamics 4.0 .Net Business connector
MS SQL 2005 MSDE

I have already checked the following point

•The Business Connector proxy exists in Active Directory.
•The Business Connector is a member of the dbcreator role in SQL Server.
•The Business Connector proxy is a member of the Performance Monitor Users, Power Users, IIS_WPG, and WSS_WPG Windows groups.
•The IIS application pool identity for my SharePoint 80 site uses the Business Connector proxy
•my user id is a member of the Admin group in Microsoft Dynamics AX and a member of the Administrators group on the server.

My BC proxy account is ashi
and i am logging on the system as an administrator.
After going through the sharepoint configuration wizard and EP configuration Wizard, when i click on create site I get message top level site successfully created.......... http://exapta:36880/sites/EP
But when i try to register site i get the following error message

Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))

I am not able to locate the problem.
Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanx for ur reply.
    i am getting the following warning is event log.

    The start address <sts3://exapta/contentdbid={58720430-2e4c-43b5-89a9-df53df5802a2}> cannot be crawled.

    Context: Application 'Search index file on the search server', Catalog 'Search'

    Details:
    The object was not found. (0x80041201)

    Hi all,

    I get the custom tab and the following options under it
    Microsoft Dynamics Enterprise Portal
    Microsoft Dynamics Public

    when i submit after selecting Microsoft Dynamics Enterprise Portal and giving the user account information.
    I get following message

    The new, empty top-level site was created successfully with the specified URL. If you have permission to view the Web site, you can do so in a new browser window by clicking the URL. To return to SharePoint Central Administration, click OK.

    After this when i register site with this url and save it and view it in browser...it says page not found.
