Hi all,
I am trying to set up Business Notification on a customer site with the following setup configuration.
I have two machines.
The first one has:
1. Windows 2003 Server
2. .Net framework 2.0
3. SQLXML 3.0,
4. SQL 2000 standard edition
5. NAV4.0 Sp3 Client
6. SQL Navision Database
The second on has:
1. Windows 2003 Server
2. .Net framework 2.0
3. SQLXML 3.0
4. SQL 2000 standard edition
5. SQL Notification Services SP1
6. NAV4.0 Sp3 Client
7. IIS
8. Business Notification Server
The problem is when I try to install Business Notification Server the service NS$BusinessNotificationInstance does not appear on the Services List, the only service that I can see is the Notification Service Deployment Manager
Has anyone faced this problem? Is there any known issue for incompatibility between NAV4.0 Sp3 (Business Notification Server) and SQL 2000 standard edition (Notification Services Sp1)?
Thank you!

May be that they are now supporting "just" MS SQL 2005 and not MS SQL 2000... but I never tested it.
