Set teh coverage group of the item up correctly and the quantity to the batch size on the quantity tab. This should work depending upon your requirements - you might need to give some more details :D

    Thanks to All

I am just briefing the issue. For a particular period all the
batches of one medicine comes with old MRP and then the same
item comes with a new MRP. We follow the First Expiry First Out
concept during Issue. Now we want to maintain the two different
    prices during making Sales Order.
    For Example
Old batches with same MRP Tax Excld.
    Date Item Batch MRP
    01/Jan A 1001 10.00
    05/Jan A 1401 10.00
    08/Mar A 2305 10.00

New batches with same MRP Tax Incld.
    Date Item Batch MRP
    10/Apr A 2030 16.00
    25/Apr A 2450 16.00
    12/May A 3001 16.00

Now during Issue if we select Item A, Bno-1401 then MRP should be
10.00 but when we issue Item A, bno-2450 then MRP should be
    16.00.
Hope I am able to clarify my requirement.

    Regards

    Hi

This is not an MRP issue really is it, your issue is that you want the batches associated with different costs to appear correctly.

However the cost of the item will not include tax in this manner, the cost is separate and tax is added on afterwards. Tax is reclaimable so it is unusual to include it in the costing. Your purchase orders I presume will have different costs so this needs to relate to your batching of orders. You also need to manually alter the appropriate tax groups at some stage to get the item calcualting correctly after April.

I understand where you believe the issue is, can you tell me where the system fails you? Can you tell me your costing method?

    Hi !
Thanks for reply. Its not related to costing. Simply, we have customiesd a field called MRP in item master and during sales order this MRP reflected (not the price) and this MRP remain static for a long period for all medicine. Now we want to assign new MRP to these items of new batches purchased and also we want the old MRP of old batches of the same item. Presently we have created two itmes with different MRP for the same item. Is there any good option without creating new item code of same Item? We are using FIFO method and for Issue we use FEFO (First Expiry First Out). Hope I am able to clear my view.

As this is a modified piece of the system with all the associated actions you are in the best position to judge this, as I will not know of any knock on affects. I would say you obviously need to write more modifications to help your modification do what you want it to do.
