HI,
in navision 5.0 cleint there is there is two new function
link to desktop
link by email

Te first function work the sedond doesn't work i had problem when create the mail. the error is indide outlook and my impression is that i have to modify outlook security level but i don't now exactly what to do.

Anyone have used this function ?

    That is indeed the case.

    You should allow outlook to send URLs. If I'm not mistaken ... that's a policy you have to set on exchange-level. But I could be wrong ... I am no exchange-specialist :-k .

    To get past being blocked from sending certain kinds of attachments or receiving certain kinds of attachments changes need to be made to the security settings. On Exchange the administrator will have to do it. For stand-alone Outlook the user with admin rights can do it.

    However, even if you can receive the url as an attchment, you still need to save it to disk before you can run it, which is quite painful.

    To get around this I send the emails from the form via smtp and embed the hyperlink in the body of the email so the user can click on the link in the email and is taken straight to the form.
