If Microsoft really does switch the Navision reporting engine out to Reporting Services in the next version then this is something that you can do then.
If it is really something that you need to be able todo for a report you can do really ugly things like force page Wraps after N lines and then you can determine how many pages are in the set (# of Records / N). This is not a truly foolproof method - but it can be made to work if a client really really has to have Page X of Y (however I try to always advise against this).

You must precalculated the report or calculate on the fly the line number (and use function Newpage to change page when max line page find)
If you use transsection, it is more difficult...
If you need Page x of y (1 / 23), thats possible with some tricks.
