When try exporting data from a table with a dataport I receive the Message "Error 4 in Module 42" (Navision 2.01B) and the Targetfile will be not created.
Does anyone know what this error means ?

Thanks
Christian

    Hi
    42 4 #Err_Fmt_DestTooSmall (Module_Fmt,4L)

The error is suggesting that the destination/Receiving file is too small.

Thanks for this info, but I can't interpret the message with my error.

There is more than enough space on the harddisk for this table.
(Expected file size is some 100 kByte and I have 40 GB free on the destination)
In the meanwhile I found out, that I can create a (bad) workaround.
Therefore I need to change the key and then set a filter to option field (does not work when done in the input form, must be set directly in the table selection) and export for each option seperately.

Still the error seems very curious. Is there more explanation anywhere available ?

    Thanks
    Christian

    Workaround:
Set the property ShowStatus = No

If you want a progress indicator, create your own by using dialog.open, ...

    :D
Reason seems to be something with the internal display of the key fields while exporting. (Described the link provided by StephenG )
