Hi,
How does the program display the Rescheduling Option of the 'Action Message' field in the Requisition Workshhet. Can any body help me in understanding the option with a detailed scenario. Plz help in urgent.

do the following process you will understand about Rescheduling Option of the Action Message field.

1. Create an Item or select an item having Inventory, Qty on P.O., Qty on Sales Order fields having zero

2. Replanishment tab --> Replanishment System = Purchase

3. Planning tab --> Reordering Policy = Order

4 . Create a sales order for the item, keep a note of Planned Delivery Date and release the S.O.

5. Open Req. Worksheet and calcualte plan, in Item tab enter Item no, in Options tab enter Order date (Sales Order date) and End Date (Planned Delivery Date) and click on 'Ok'

6. You could see a requisition line having Action Message 'New' and Due date is your Planned delivery date

7. Carry out action messages, this will create a P.O

8. Open the S.O. of that item and change the Planned Delivery Date

9. Repeat 5 to 7 steps (note : this time End date will be new Planned Delivery Date)

10. now you will see action message as 'Reschedule'

Try the above process by changing the S.O.Qty as well, you will find that action message is Reschedule & Change Qty.
