Gl not getting updated when sales invoice is posted

This is regarding the inventory value . As i have checked all the setups of Inventory . What happens that when the sales invoice gets posted , the cost value of an item doen't hit the GL..Also we made chech mark on automatic Cost posting . Kindly suggest.

in the General Posting Setup in g/l do you have the COGS setup

2nd) do you have anything set in the Gen prod Posting Group of the item?

you should check that whether "unit cost (lcy)" in sales ınv. lines has any value.. if no, item card has no cost and cogs is not generated and not posted to G/L automatically...so in this case, you should run "adjust cost-item entries" batch and "post ınventory cost to g/l" batch..
