hi experts,
can anyone able to guide me on setting up the vat in Nav 4.0 sp3...
sales tax setups has been done but while making po vat is not affecting, will i need to create anything in structure also.....if so pls guide even i refered on structure manuals also but still confused....
so, pls help

To setup VAT, you need to configure the VAT Business Posting Groups, VAT Product Posting Groups and VAT Setup (see options in Financial Management - Setup - VAT Posting Group menu).
On you Vendors, you should specify a default VAT Business Posting Group, on your Items, a default VAT Product Posting Group. On entering a PO, Navision will determine the default VAT rate using these values and the VAT Posting setup matrix.

we have to setup the vat in sales tax, since its different rules in diff states...
