Can I add some information in the .chm file of navision?
Suppose i have created a form .
it has got some fields(say 2).I want that when the cursor is in one of those fields and user presses F1 then help should be there.

also, the Tooltip property allows you to enter text for that individual field. So on mouse-over the info is displayed.

No it doesn't but it's another option for adding information about a field for the user0 -
You could also check the Navision help for Copmany Notes. This is more for the end user (the client) to add specific notes about Navision functionality - but depending on what you are adding this might be a solution.

There are tools to help you develop context sensitive html help for your custom NAV forms/tables/reprorts etc. You can find them on the 3.70 Tools CD.
I went down the RoboHelp route, and the basic process is as follows:
1. Import the help objects into NAV - these allow you to generate htm files for each table, field, report, form that you wish to write help for.
2. Import the htm files into RoboHelp
3. Write your help in RoboHelp
4. Compile project using nav GATE compiler.
5. Copy chm file into your language folder in your nav installation and marvel at your lovely new context sensitive help0
