How can a word document file be attached to Navision form object.

I want to attach an external document file with each and every record of table one by one through a function and want that attached doc file as it is after posting the record.

Check the item card. There is the functionlaity of uploading photo. Use the same feature and upload the documents. Data field of "BLOB" type will be used for the same.

Check the Document Link function in NAV 5.0. You can attach documents or other links to any record in your DB and if you connect it to e.g. Sales Order, it will be transfered to Posted Invoice etc.
