Download Navision 5.0

Hi
The older versions extracted to 2 iso files that had to be produced to 2 CDs. The CDs had to be named as Disc1 and Disc2.
As far as I understand, the installation routine counted on what files were on which disc.

Now the zip file for 5.0 extracts simply all files that belong to 5.0. The files consume about 2 GB.

The question: What files have to be copied on which disk in order to have a working CD set for installations? Or is it meant to use 1 DVD only?
Maybe a stupid question, but anyway...

Thanks in advance
Thomas

    Hello ta5

You need to burn it into one DVD.

    Hi Rashed
Thanks, that's what I was afraid of, since not all servers have a dvd-drive, but I can live with it...

I haven't tried it, but if you split into 2 CDs with the same folder structure, wont it just give a message asking for the remaining files, so you can then change CDs?

You don't need to install it from a CD.
Put it on a shared folder and install it on the server.

You can copy it to local drive on the server as well.

Believe me there are times when you need to install from a CD, so I understand why Thomas asked the question. For example when a prospect wants to install Cronus form their home computer that only has a CD, do you want to send them a Hard Disk?

    Thanks for your replies.
I know there are workaround (shared folders, dvd, etc).
Has someone done the actual splitting to 2 or 3 CDs as David suggested?
