Migration from Nav 3.70 SP3(Hotfix 13) database to 4.0 SP3

Hi,

I want to migrate Navision 3.70 SP3(hotfix 13) database to 4.0 SP3,but 4.0 SP3 some field of 3.70 which are in 13000 & 16000 are not missing & i migrated only necessary customized fields not all.

My doubt is should i go through upgrade toolkit to perform this task.Currently i'm migrating data thourgh dataports (comparing both tables of 3.70 & 4.0 SP3) only those fields which are missing.i'm migrating only those field.

which method or methodology should i adopt for migration.is upgrade toolkit would be useful or i simply go through dataport procedure.

ALL upgrades should go through the upgrade toolkit, supplemented by customized upgrade logic for custom functionality.
