Client crashes when trying to optimise any tables.

Hi,

We've had this problem for a short while now, whereby when we attempt to optimise any tables the client crashes with the error message:

error 1232 in module 19

We're running Nav 3.7a (Native) on a Win2003 Server.

Has anyone seen this before or have any ideas?

Internal Error 1232 in Module 19
Modul 19 = Database Error (see also Module 34)
Error Code: 1246416
Description: #Err_DB_PacketSequenceError

(Possible) Reasons:
The network is malfunctioning.
NAVISION has received a package sent to another address.
This error indicates a major problem in the reliability of your network.

(Possible) Solution/Workaround:
Please check the error rate in your network using NETTEST.

Thanks for your reply,

Nettest results are: 100 byte packets = 5,208.00 pps and 400 byte packets = 1,059.00 pps

(The server is however currently creating a Navsion backup which may affect the speed slightly.)

Having said that the pps rates do appear to be acceptable?

Our database size is currently 103 GB (85 GB used).

Do you have any ideas what I could try next?
