ODBC in V4.03

HI
We previously used ODBC with Nav 2.6. We have may queries and functions that rely on extraction of data via ODBC. We use a cside database.
We have recently implemented Navision 4.3 and is having significant problems with ODBC. When we extract the GL account table and want to use the date filter field to filter the data to a single month. The date filter appears as 01/01/1753 in all instances. We have tried using the date filter field on the item master with the same results.
Can you please provide an urgent resolution to this problem.
