changing the status of Purchase ORder

Hi

Is there a way to cancel a Purchase Order in Navision..? So that it shud not appear in the pending list, but it shud not get deleted so that we can go back to check the list of cancelled orders after sometime?

Don't keep the cancelled purchase orders in Table 38 and 39.

This table is used by flowfields, MRP calculation... So the less data, the better the performance.

For this reason use the Purchase order archive. You can archive a purchase order. technically it will be transformed to an other table. There you can keep it as long as you want, because it will not influence performance any more.
