Active Directory schema Extension Error

Hi All,

While extendinding the schema,I am facing a very strange error.
I chosen extend automatically,It shows the following error message.

A call to the Active Directory Service Interface Faiuled
The System returned the following error:
The attribute syntax specified to the directory service is invalid.

Contact your system manager or system vendor for support

While accessing the server by specifying its name,it is working correctly and connecting clients and server.

Does anybody help me in this case.

You do not need to extend the schema. I never did that... :-)

Which server you are using? (which OS you are running on the domain server?)
