One of our customers would like to use Outlook as Scheduler for Navision Financials or even as a kind of CRM - Tool. Does anybody have experiences with?
To be more specific: Navision cannot trigger external events such as OutlookApp.Reminder. However, you could constantly scan Outlook.CalendarItem.Start (= Date/Time the event is scheduled) in order to find out whether or not an event is going to be fired.
If you are thinking of intergrating Jobs it is better that Outlook is updated by Navision in the first Instance.
I am currently developing a module to Include the above.
from one entry screen within Navision, which is a time Scheduler.
It also includes shift and dayworking patterns and time elements, Minute,5 Minutes,10 Minutes, etc: up to 1 hour, like the date elements.
As you fill your time sheet or schedule future time the respective Journals are updated by the users pre-defined elements, this is not a project for a Customer so it is being Developed as and when time permits.

One Way or Two Way ?
Prospects & Contacts > Contacts
Activities > Calendar/Tasks
Job Journals > Calendar/Tasks
Resource Journals to Calendar/Tasks
