Updating Workcenter costs onto Production Journal

On a Legacy Client version 4.00 UK work centres are used as physical items contributing to the routing. In this case the work centre represents
Labels.

The problem that i have is that on a production order when selecting routing and changing unit costs indirect cost or overhead rate that this will change on the routing but when access the Production Journal this will not change.

The only way i have around this is to use the specific unit cost flag on the workcentre. This however does not suit the client due to the amount of processing they do.

Am I missing something EG the updating routing costs will not appear on the Production Journal but will instead occur as variances or be picked up by the adjust costs routine ?

Any help on this would be appreicated.

I have tested this in cronus 4.00 and 5.00 and cannot get the cost to appear on the production like the specific unit costs function does :S
