Wii - The ultimate excercising tool

Got the Wii a few weeks ago and have been playing the Wii Sports game that came with the machine. Just wanted to report that I've lost 10 pounds already!
It would be nice if I kept a picture blog of my progress... But apparently, there are a lot of bloggers out there that are keeping track of their weight loss.

Is the weight loss through the exercice, or just that it is so addictive that you have just stopped eating as much :?:
Has it affected your social life as much, staying in on the Wii

I really believe the weight loss is through excercise. I break into a sweat after playing boxing for about an hour. To add to the intensity, I've now added weights into my "workout"
I've been addicted to other video games before, but this time I can feel it's different.
Regarding the social life, if anything, it has improved our social life since friends like to come over more often to play Mario Party 8.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog

I'm waiting for the Wii Game that will help me master my Beer Guzzling technique

I'm thinking about a Wii too but the prob is that I'm modern guy: I don't have a TV - I use a 22" monitor for everything. And the Wii doesn't have VGA output - there are some transcoders but I'm not sure they are reliable. Although maybe a simple TV tuner card helps.
BTW how does this weight loss works? I mean at the first time when you get tired after an hour and your movements become smaller and smaller you realize that Wii boxing works with only small wrist movements. And it's faster therefore you get a better score. And there goes the exercise. Doesn't it happen to you?0 -

It does. However, I make a conscience effort to play Wii Sports the way it's meant to be played, basically, using full range of motion.
Playing it while sitting on the couch defeats the purpose of buying a Wii.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog

You know Alex, you might have found the perfect argument to purchase a second big screen HD TV for the workout room, it's for your new Nintendo excercise equipment.0

My Insurance reimburses (a bit) for the purchase of excercise equipment.
Submitting a claim for a big screen TV would be funny!0 -
I have a flex reimbursement acount for medical expenses, I wonder if they would accept a claim for a 65" Plasma and a Nintendo Wii as excercise equipment0
