Editing an Invoice and a Credit Memo

Dear All,

I have an issue with a customer. Apparently he is trying to create an invoice and another user is trying to create a credit memo. Both of them have got the same problem: as soon as they press enter to go to the sell-to customer no a new invoice or credit memo (depending on the case) is being created without letting them enter any data. It seems to be a permission problem but the strange thing is that up to yesterday they were working perfectly. By any change did anyone ever encounter this problem?

There is no relation between teh credit memo and sales invoice except for the fact that they have the same problem
