ADCS - Warehouse Mgmt & manufacturing?

I have a client that would like to do all picking and puting away by bar code scanning. I've called several companies that sell add-ons for ADCS but, so far, all of them have said that they do not have this functionality. Not even Lanham can do it.

The project involves many other modifcations so I prefer to just use an add-on for this. There just isn't enough time in the schedule to try and build this functionality from scratch. I'd like a product that is very simple and hopefully doesn't require the full warehouse mgmt suite because they have a very small, simple warehouse. So much of the wms is overkill for them.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

get simple warehouse mgt with just creating picks from sales order. And get lanham ADCS.

That way, you just create picks from sales order and the users can register the picks from handheld units.

I talked to someone from Lanham today. They said their add-on would not scan the picks for raw materials to be used for production and it would not scan the put-away for finished goods to be put into inventory. This is the functionality that I need. My client will be doing that function more often than the picking for shipping.

maybe another solution is to use RDP or citrix on those handheld units if possible, and in navision you can create custom small form.
I've done it for a client. It took a couple of days and the solution is a lot faster and easier to build. Do the hand held units have capability to run citrix or rdp?

Yes we can get any handhelds. I'd like to use an RF solution that didn't need a full NAV license file for each handheld.

It is possible with Lanham ADCS to handle Pick from Manufacturing and also handle put-aways. The put-away can be created from the handheld directly by scanning the items, without using a Navision Client.
