Besides another license possibly, what else would I need to allow Navision 4.10 to be access from
outside of our office?

I'd like to try and find a roundabout price so we could allow one login from trade shows so people could check inventory without calling us.

    Navision 4.10 does not exist.
Do you mean 3.10 or 4.00SP1?

They need to use RDP or citrix. And if it's just one session, they can rdp directly into the box provided you have the connection setup correctly?

Yes I mistakenly typed.. it's 3.10a. We're never going to upgrade to a newer version because of price.

By price, you mean the upgrade pirce?

You can always find an indian company to do the upgrade. It'll save you on money.

Yeah, I know. The company I work for is Indian and most of the people here are too.

It's frustrating when they ask me at the last minute to find a price on something like a tote bag we can print our logo on and hand out at trade shows for free, then when they see the price go "Oh I can get this cheaper in India". Made all this extra work for nothing from myself and also the companies who print up the tote bags.

we use UltraVNC to connect from an outside computer at a show.

It's like a PCanywhere but it's a small program that takes up no space & it's FREE!

You need a host pc back at the office for the remote pc to connect to.
There are a bunch of programs like this available.

Install Server on host PC & Viewer on remote pc.
