partial Conversion of sales Quotation

Dear All,
Please let me know If it is possible to convert the partial quantity in the Sales Quotation to Sales Order.
It would facilitate me to Analysis the Quotation I submitted and the Order I was received against the same.

Hi

You cannot as standard accomplish this, you would need to edit the quotation to create the sales order correctly, or create the sales order then edit it. Either way once the conversion is done the quote is deleted, so what are you comparing it too?

We actualy wanted a comparitive report relating to the QUOTATION submited and the Order bagged aginst the same.
We wanted to knoe the Quotation to Ordre Conversion ratio...
is it possible...? :roll:

Hi

It is not as standard as the quote is deleted and you therefore have no "lost" quotes to compare them against. Opportunity Manager has some features in this area you may want to look at, but otherwise you will need to modify the system to capture win/loss (and reasons?) upon the conversion or closure of a quote.
