Trade Agreements (Line Discount)

Dear All,

I am trying to setup a line discount group (customer), I created two lines 1000 qty @ discount 1 $
and another line
10,000 qty @ discount 2 $

on the sales order if I put a qty of 1000 qty the system calculate a 1$ discount, but if I put 10,000 qty the system put 3$ as discount (1+2).
is this the way of how Ax calculating the line discount, please advice.

Yes, that's exactly how it works.

The code that does this is here:
\Classes\PriceDisc\findDisc

to accomplish what you want, you can simply input the same 1$ discount for 10000, even though it's not too logical at first.

then the total discount for all amount over 10000 would be 2$.

If you turn off the checkbox (search again), then the line with the lowest QuantityAmount will be used (1000 in your case)
