Client resolution in Terminal server

Hi,
I am in the process of setting up Version 4 on Navision and when using the client in Terminal server the resolution of the navigation areas is very poor. The cards are fine its just the navigation bars. The screen resolution for all other applications on the terminal server is fine.
Has anyone ever come across this or is this now normal for Version 4. Version 3 never had this problem.
I think the problem is more terminal server as its set to 256 colours and not sure how to change this.
Does anyone know how to increase the resolution in Terminal server?
Andrew

yes it's common in terminal services.
To change the colors, when terminal servies client opens up, click on option. on display tab you'll find the color option drop down. Select higher color0 -
Don't worry found out what it is.
Windows 2000 terminal server has a limitation of 256 colors and this cannot be changed.
Have to upgrade to Windows 2003 terminal server and then purchase cals to go with, very expensive option is AUS $15000.00+
Just love the way Microsoft forces the issue!!!!

It's not the end of the world though, a lot of customers use it and are fine with the discoloration.0

Yes will have to sound it out with the project team. See if they are happy to stay with the lower resolution or not.
Thanks for you help.

The maximum resolution for Terminal Server is 1600x1200. Colordepth on Windows 2000 server is indeed 256 colors.
BTW, the ICA protocol does support more than 256 colors, even on Windows 2000. Don't think that will be cheaper, though0
