Dataport for two dataItem

Hi All,

I have a requirement to create a dataport which import data from one file and import it into two tables i.e some fields in opportunity table and next some fields in Opportunity entry table.

I want to generate the no. series for "No." field in opportunity table and that no. to come as "Opportunity No."in opportunity entry table.The next thing i need is to create an entry no. as 1 greater than the last entry no. in opportunity entry table.

Any body can tell me how can we achieve this as the last no. used in No. series should get affected after importing the record ](*,)

Hi Surya,
I'd recommend using global variables to map your incoming fields to.
Set your DataItem to the Opportunity table.
In the "Opportunity - OnAfterImportRecord()" trigger, put in the required code to create the relevant Opportunity & Opportunity Entry records.
