Hi all,
I have connected Navision 4.0(SP2) to SQL Server 2005.
In Navision when I click on Tools ->Secirity-> Synconize all logins
It is giving message
Navision and SQL Server security systems have not been synchronized successfully. The SQL Server login MARKETING does not exist .

Anyone knows abt this?

Thanks,
Sandip.

In short: Sync process cannot create SQL Server Login, which is needed if Database Logins are used - only Windows Logins can be created.

All details you can find in Inst & Config manual, its a whole chapter there about synchronization...

That means what the message says 'the user MARKETING does not exist'. The way to solve that issue is to create a user with that name.
