When I use a new company (created by myself) in Navision Attain 3.60
I have the following problem:

if I try to register a purchase order, sometimes it doesn't work and this message appears:

entry number "n°" already exist
(ex. if i had registered 4 orders, the fifth order doesn't work)

Then I try to register a different order and it works.
So I try to register the old order and sometimes it works (sometimes i have to register may other orders before i would be able to register the order which gave me problems)


Anyone have a suggestion about the problem?

I hope the question is understandable even if my English it's not very good

    I'm not sure i get your english either but is your number series set up?

    Yes, I set up series number.

    check if you have no active filter. click into header of your document...
    If there is active filter, then Navision "remembers" document no. and when you wish to create new document (using F3) then it will automaticaly place previous document no. to your new document.

    solution is simple: remove filter and create new document using F3. this should work.

    When I started my job as Navi programmer, I spent a lot of time searching for reason of similar error in my newly created application.
