Unit Cost & Last Direct Cost

In a situation where inventory item card has an item that doesn’t have a constant price, it is understandable that new change price can be update at the last direct price. But if an items price changes again, is it possible for one to have the last direct cost price be called to the unit cost instead?

Logically the price can be updated in PO/SO but if it is disabled in PO/SO? And the change through unit price in the item card is also disabled? Are there other alternative? I also know that the last direct cost = unit cost.

You can set up purchase prices by vendor from the item card, but the unit cost is a calculated field within Navision, so when you stat processing you cannot alter this field.

Unit Cost and LDC are 2 separate things. Unit cost is your true unit cost after you run the adjust cost. The last direct cost is the last cost that effected this item, this includes positive adjustments.

What is the business requirement you're facing that's making you want to change this logic?
