What does the 'Mandatory' boolean field do (functionally) in the master templates?

    I assume that when the field Manfatory is set, the field must be filled in... 8)

    What is the master template used for anyway? I can't find any white paper on it, neither do it exist in the builtin help in NAV 5 client.

    It is part of Rapid Implementation Methodology (RIM) tools for creating and setup of new companies...
