showing error message while installing Ax 4.0

hi.

Iam getting error msg while install Ax4.0. in my local system showing this message

" You are logged on with local computer account(xyz). you must be logged on with a Domain Account to run Microsoft Dynamics Ax setup"

so plz help me to encounter this problem.

hai,

basically the error what you had mentioned is is domain name, to run dyanamics ax we need to log on to the windows 2003 using the domain name.

so the solution for your error is

1) create a new domain and users in windows 2003
2) log in with the latest user id and domain name created.

once you can do this the problem will not come.

if u want to install ax 4.0 u should have server with active directory that u can create a domain
ask ur network administrator for installing an active directory
or if u have already have a server with a domain and sql server then try to install in that server
