I'm having a problem with the Navision Attain Interface (Menu's).

When I select as Language "Dutch (Belgium)" everything stays in English, but when I select "French (Belgium)" everything is translated, as it should be, in French.

I have removed the fin.hmt files in the ENU,FRB and NLB folders but that doesn't help. I have noticed though that the fin.hmt file in the NLB directory isn't created anymore.

Does anybody have a quick fix for this problem.

Before i forget, total reinstalling doesn't help either.
Now, let's see what we can see.

Check your regional settings in the Windows control panel. On the General-tab, you can choose your location.

I did what you said, and I even applied the "Dutch Belgium" setting to the Default profile.

It didn't help, the program just won't switch to 'Dutch (Belgium)'. I can't even enter an NLB value in the CaptionML property.

    Any clues?

This is a know issue for me. I had it on my previous WinXP-installation. It has something to do with your (default) windows-language setting in the registry. The wrong language-code is linked to the language. E.g. code 801 (English) is linked with both Dutch and English.

Don't know how this is possible. You can change it in the registry, and Navision will work fine then. The stupid thing is, when you reboot, the default setting is resetted, and you have the same problem all over again.

A new installation of my WinXP "solved" this problem.
