ODBC Drivers (inner and outer joins)

Does anybody know of Navision ODBC drivers that can cope with inner and outer joins - besides the Vorsprung ones?
I have a client who wants to connect to Business Objects through ODBC. As far as I can see the only option for this is to use the Vorsprung drivers that can only be bought as part of a full reporting product (at considerable cost).
I would very much appreciate any help on this topic.
