WINAPI::ShellExecute in AOSrunmode

Hi,

I have a small problem with the AOS run mode in Axapta 3.0 sp3.

When i run axapta in direct mode there is no problem to launch WINAPI::shellExecute in all methods.

But when i do the same action in AOS mode WINAPI::shellExecute don't start.

HAve you got any idea to solve this problems?

Hi,

On theory shellExecute should work fine in 3-tier as well. Perhaps is there any security rights / configuration settings missing?

Perhaps if you could tell us a bit more info (what exactly are you trying to run) someone might be able to help you.

This is very fundamental. Any way I will mention this - I hope you have set the 'RunOn' property to server.

But i found another solution.
On cliked method of an forms it works fine in AOS mode.
So i make a new intermediar forms with a button to execute my shellExecute.
